NEW SINGLE from JYO TOHYAMA BEGA PROJECT

MY EVERYTHING

I’m incredibly excited to share “My Everything,” the third single from the Jyo Tohyama Bega Project, a collaboration between Lance Jyo, Mumon Tohyama, and Maurice Bega. Released on September 9th on all Digital Streaming Platforms.

The project began in 2019, before COVID, when Mumon came to Hawaii for a visit. During that visit, we collaborated on 15 songs for the project.

From the beginning, we envisioned the project as a collection of  instrumental and vocal songs. We were blessed to have Maurice, a longtime collaborator of mine who has worked with me on many projects over the years, join us. His voice has become an important part of bringing these songs to life.

The full project is tentatively scheduled for release in summer 2027, and we’re excited to share more of these songs with you along the way.

“My Everything” is especially close to my heart.

The inspiration for this song came directly from my son and his bride. Before their wedding, they sat down with me and shared their story, how they met as childhood sweethearts, grew together, and eventually found their way to marriage.

Their story really stayed with me. Working together with my longtime songwriting collaborator Jeff Pescetto, we turned their story into “My Everything,” a song written as a wedding gift for them, a celebration of their love, their journey.

I’m grateful to the many talented people who helped bring this song to life. Dan Velasquez contributed to the lush arrangement, with Raul Ferrando contributing additional instrumentation and handled mixing and mastering duties. Artwork for the single, created by Joerg Alfter.

Mumon, Maurice, and I are truly excited to share this song with you.

Whether you’re celebrating a new love, remembering your own love story, or simply thinking about the person who means the most to you, we hope “My Everything” finds a special place in your heart.

September 9th — Available on all major digital and streaming platforms.

Thank you for listening, for sharing our music, and for being part of this journey with us.

NEW SINGLE from LJP

What Am I Here For

🎶 EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF A BRAND NEW SINGLE FROM LJP (Lance Jyo & Jeff Pescetto)! 🎶

“What Am I Here For?”  - The first single from the forthcoming LJP2 project will be released August 11th on all major streaming and digital platforms!

LJP2 is the follow-up to our first project, ENSO, released back in 2023. Jeff Pescetto and I, have been working on this new project, and to date, we’ve completed 13 songs, with the full project tentatively set for release toward the end of this year.

“What Am I Here For?” is the first song we’re releasing from LJP2, and we’re especially excited about this one. The song was written from a perspective that I think many people can relate to, looking back over your life, reflecting on where you’ve been, the choices and experiences that shaped you, and ultimately asking yourself about the meaning and purpose of life itself. Once again, we were fortunate to bring together some incredibly talented musicians and collaborators to help bring the song to life.

Dan Velasquez contributed the arrangement, while Joerg  Alfter provided background vocals, additional instrumentation, and handled the mixing and mastering of the song.

Jeff and I are really excited to finally share “What Am I Here For?” with you. This is just the first glimpse of what we’ve been working on with LJP2, and we can’t wait for you to hear the rest of the project.

🎵 “What Am I Here For?”  -  August 11th

Thank you to everyone who has supported LJP. We hope you’ll listen, share it, and join us for the next chapter.

NEW SINGLE from Kevin I.

KEEP BELIEVIN'

There’s something deeply rewarding about hearing a song you wrote take on a whole new life.

I’m proud to share that Kevin I’s new single, “Keep Believin’,” is now available on all major streaming platforms.

I originally wrote this song years ago, but for Kevin’s project it’s been completely reimagined as a Contemporary Christian track. Kevin, who contributed lyrics to this new version, connected with the message in a genuine way and delivered a powerful vocal performance that truly makes the song his own.

Producing this track was an incredible experience. I had the privilege of bringing together a team I deeply respect, many of whom I’ve worked with before on Kevin’s *My Continuum* and other Dreamwalking Music Projects. Joining us were Dan Velasquez, Raul Ferrando, David Kauahikaua, Tony Shepherd and Rachel Gonzales each contributing their unique talents and helping shape the final sound. Special thanks to Joerg Alfter for designing the artwork for the single and Leilani Kanagawa, Kevin’s Creative Director.

I hope you enjoy listening to “Keep Believin’” as much as we enjoyed creating it. LJ

Christmas In Our Hearts (Single)

In December 2025, Dreamwalking Music was thrilled to release a special holiday project, “Christmas in Our Hearts,” featuring Kevin I. on lead vocals, with Rachel Gonzales and LJ providing background harmonies. The song was originally written in the early 1990s with Galen and Takushi for the At Second Glance project. With the help of Raul Ferrando and Dan Velasquez, the song was finally completed and released as a single on all digital streaming platforms.

Kevin I.

One In Love (Single)

Released in February 2026 just in time for Valentine’s Day, “One In Love” became the next featured single from the project. Composed by Manny Cabral and produced by LJ, the song carries a rich history spanning more than four decades. Kevin first performed the song at the Hawaii Music Awards, where he earned top honors, before later performing it at the Tokyo Music Festival alongside legendary artists such as Lionel Richie, Joe Cocker, and Jennifer Warnes. The release marked an especially meaningful milestone for LJ, as it was the first song he produced that he had not personally composed. Great care was taken to preserve the integrity and emotional depth of Manny Cabral and Kevin’s original performance. Reuniting once again with Dan Velasquez and Raul Ferrando, the production team worked diligently to maintain the essence of the classic arrangement while highlighting Kevin’s unmistakable voice, which remains as powerful and expressive as ever. The single is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Jyo – Tohyama – Bega Project

The long-awaited Jyo – Tohyama – Bega Project has officially entered post-production. LJ and Mumon Tohyamafirst began writing material for the project in 2020, just before the onset of the COVID pandemic. Working collaboratively between Japan and Hawaii, the duo created ten songs consisting of both instrumental and vocal tracks, with all featured vocals performed by Maurice Bega.

To date, the project has released two singles: “Nothing” and “Royal Palm Drive,” the latter featuring renowned ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro. Both singles arecurrently available on all major digital streaming platforms.

With the addition of production team members Dan Velasquez, Joerg Alfter, and Raul Ferrando, the project has continued to evolve creatively and sonically. A tentative release date is currently set for December 2026.

The next single, “My Everything,” is scheduled for release in September 2026 on all digital streaming platforms.

LJP (Lance Jyo & Jeff Pescetto) – LJP II

The highly anticipated sophomore release from LJP, tentatively titled LJP II, is currently in production and will once again be released through Cool Sounds Records in Japan. Following the success of 2023’s ENSO release, Lance Jyo and Jeff Pescetto have written 14 new songs for the upcoming project. To maintain the signature sound and sonic quality established on ENSO, the team has reunited with producers and engineers Dan Velasquez, Joerg Alfter, and Raul Ferrando. Together, they continue crafting a polished and richly layered production.

The first single from the project, “What Am I Here For,” is expected to be released in August 2026 on all digital streaming platforms.

Jon Basebase

Released in late 2025, Jon Basebase’s “Tropic Paradise”, a Bossa Nova interpretation of a song co-written by LJ and Jeff Pescetto, is now available on all streaming platforms.
